DAXE I

“ Traditional Electric Guitars were born from a need of playing louder live… Stadium guitars are great, but we must be spending 99 % of our playing time either practicing, rehearsing, composing or recording. I wanted to have a guitar that felt at home ‘at’ home where I do these things, and overturn decades of consumer conditioning .” Jens J Hucke
dAxe I
Part of the dAXE range of guitars created with the serious home recording musician in mind, combining traditional values, innovation, practicality and design. Strong ergonomic considerations have been given to create a finely balanced instrument that fits well in a restricted performance space, be it public or private, and is a great tool for recording, or simply playing and practicing.
Harware:
The hardware is quality German made, in a black chrome gloss plating finish, and features of our own design improvement.
It allows allows the use of ready made double ball ended guitar strings as well as standard strings thanks to the advanced headpiece design, and individual bridge tuner pieces.
Pickups:
Our 2 Humbucker pickups have been selected for quality and tone, as well as low noise for studio use. We have gone with UK hand wound pickups specifically tailored to offer a wide spectrum tone, rich and easy to process.
Construction:
We used a set-neck construction method. A light weight design coupled with a shape that sits well standing or seated by your computer or mixing desk.
The neck itself is of a novel multi-laminate design rarely seen before on a musical instrument for extra stiffness instrument, sustain, easy top fret access and comfort. It also gives our carvings and joints a unique finished look
